Another doozy from the Live Music Blog inbox:
10KLF announces today that guitarist Trey Anastasio will be unable to perform at the event in 2007 due to circumstances beyond control. Anastasio’s spokesperson confirms “Trey is disappointed he is unable to play the festival this year but is looking forward to returning for the 2008 10,000 Lakes Festival.”
This isn’t all that surprising given Mr. Anastasio’s recent legal troubles. But it’s still pretty crazy news that he had to cancel this appearance.
10KLF has done some decent damage control by adding the String Cheese Incident in his place, but this will certainly leave some phans a bit disappointed.

It’s a big step up if you ask me. Trey played a snore-fest last year, while the tall pines and lakes are perfect for Cheese.
