Although Wakarusa’s initial line-up announcement was the big festival news today, a few other festivals have made announcements this week (while I was away). As usual, Live Music Blog is on top of all of the festival news…
- Summercamp gears up for 2007 with its familiar line-up (yep, moe. as the headliner)
- Gathering of the Vibes has its line-up and has re-located back to its original spot in Bridgeport, CT
- Justin also speculated about Bonnaroo headliners, with Pearl Jam as is prediction for a possible big headliner
- Hits from the Blog has at least one band confirmed for Bonnaroo: Cold War Kids (by the way, I literally just checked out a fantastic set by Cold War Kids over at NPR’s Live Concert Series)
- And the wikipedia entry for Bonnaroo also has John Butler Trio confirmed as well
- As long as we’re throwing out random speculation for Bonnaroo headliners, how about something more European and off-kilter as a follow-up to Radiohead….the Cure?
And in case you missed our previous festival news, we’ve also discussed info on Bonnaroo, 10KLF, Langerado, and Coachella.
Can you tell we’re already sick of the cold weather and indoor shows!?!?
